Izzatul nasyid team was formed by activists of Islamic da'wah campus of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences University of Indonesia (UI FMIPA) Depok. In between classes, they are actively practicing on campus named mushalla Izzatul mushalla Islam. UI FMIPA nasyid team itself was formed long before recording the first album Izis; APPEAL. Nasyid team FMIPA UI has been around since 1992, its members include Ust. Ahmad Sahal, Lc (DPP PKS cadres) and Nurcholiq Ramdhan (Director PT.Nada Cipta Raya).
