Profile Esseljay - Born into a muslim family in Baltimore Md, and currently living in Houston Tx, Esseljay travels on the outside of the line by trying to get his message across using strictly lyrics and no beats. In a world where the beat makes the track this young lyricists aim is to move minds, and speak truth. He is the owner of the record label, Firm Entertainment, and is working to expand the influence of his label, and the artists on it, all of whom operate acapella. "My goal, and the goal of Firm Entertainment and the whole Firm Fam, is to the kill the misconceptions about our deen, while also trying to uplift the ummah, as well as the people as a whole." And with every instance he's on stage or in front of a mic, Esseljay is one step closer to achieving that goal.
