What Is a Nasheed ? (Part 1)

Nasyid comes from the Arabic, ansyada-yunsyidu, meaning to hum. Nasyid as the definition of art format is chanting which contains religious poetry. However, there are many versions regarding the meaning nasyid itself. Example of an article mentioned that the meaning or anasyid nasyid (plural) itself is a chant or reading, while the term is singing in Arabic Al-Ghina, not nasyid.
